Reitmans (Canada) Limited announces new executive

MONTREAL, May 31, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Reitmans (Canada) Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Lindy as Executive Vice-President. Brian brings his many years of retail experience to our executive team and will be responsible for a broad range of initiatives. Brian is leaving a 10 year career at Stokes/Thinkkitchen, a national houseware/giftware retailer, most recently as President. Previously Brian served for 3 years as CFO of the Bentley group of companies, a chain of 600 luggage and accessory stores. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a Chartered Accountant, both earned at McGill University. Prior to his time at Bentley, Brian was a partner at the chartered accounting firm Schwartz Levitsky Feldman (SLF). Brian currently is on the Board of Directors of the Retail Council of Canada, is Chair of the Audit Committee of the Douglas Hospital Foundation and is a member of the Audit Committee of Federation CJA.
