Reitmans (Canada) Limited announces changes to BoardApr 2, 2008 MONTREAL, April 2 /CNW Telbec/ - Reitmans (Canada) Limited announces that Cyril Reitman has retired from the Board of Directors of the Company after serving as a director for 39 years. Mr. Reitman will be replaced, effective today, by Mr. John J. Swidler, FCA, a senior partner of RSM Richter, an accounting and consulting firm. John J. Swidler, FCA is a Senior Partner of the Montreal office of RSM Richter and a member of the Board of Directors. He was the Chairman of the Executive Committee of RSM Richter from 1982 to 1996 and the Managing Partner from 1996 to January 1, 2007. His professional practice includes providing business advisory services to publicly-owned and privately-held companies. He has been involved in a number of significant merger and acquisition transactions on behalf of clients. He acts as an advisor for private equity funds in Canada and in the United States.
